When I started this quilt, I had no plan and no idea of what I wanted it to end up looking like. I had some fabrics that I "fell in love with" and knew I just wanted to do something a little bit different. So, I started cutting, piecing, and let the fabrics spiral as they wanted to! It just kept blooming! There were many challenges, all those points, very narrow lamé strips, a border print, and that unusual 8 sided shape, but all so much fun to do!
