| I wanted my Baltimore Album to be different. I found a soaring eagle and he is guarding my garden of flowers. Mr. Peacock is hiding in the Calla Lilies waiting for the right time to come out to play in my garden. This quilt took 13 years to make and with my longarm machine I was able to stitch a different design in each block; I wanted the border to reflect the wonderful world of quilting designs. I deliberately gave extra negative space in my blocks and in the border to showcase the quilting designs. I would not change anything on my quilt. I love my work of art! |
