I love working with batiks and made the Lone Star with the colors of the rainbow. There are approximately 350 Half Square Triangles (HSTs) in the Star. The red border stars are floating stars. There are approximately 208 star points and were individually cut out and sewn together. I do not use the paper-piecing technique on my quilts. This quilt won a Blue Ribbon at the 2013 San Antonio Area Quilt Guild Show.
