| This quilt grew from my memories of reading so many fairy tales as a child that I know my dreams were full of the stories. I actually went back to my favorites and read them again. The challenge was to make each story blend into the next using landscape and sky. I found a great computer program that allowed me to change the perspective of a picture to make a pattern for the bedspread blocks which are actually antique pieces. The only thing not "real" about this work is my dog "Fluffy" in my bed...Mom would never have allowed that! |
