This is the second quilt in my sister series. I have six sisters and decided to make each of them a quilt to their color and design specifications. This quilt will be going to my second sister in line, Marie Crossland. She loves to garden so I included a floral print as the focal fabric and then added companion fabrics in her favorite colors of green and purple. She also liked the Lone Star quilt design so this quilt incorporates a feathered Lone Star at its center. The quilt also has wool batting to help her combat those New England winters.
