When I saw Becky Goldsmith's quilt "Everyday Best", which was made from polka dot fabrics, I knew I wanted to make a similar quilt. However, I had very few polka dot fabrics in my stash. So I asked the members of my bee for small swatches of polka dot fabric. Could it be any fabric? Yes! I think I used at least one piece from every fabric they offered me. Friends are wonderful. And I love how small pieces of polka dot fabrics, that by themselves are not very interesting, when combined, make a lovely, cheerful, colorful quilt.
