The kaleidoscope look of a stack-n-whack quilt appealed to me so I gave it a try. It seems that there is no way to really know how the final product will appear so it is a fun surprise to see the pinwheels develop. I like to spray baste the quilt sandwich but setting up a large enough horizontal area outside for this one was a problem. I now have a wall set up in my house for spray basting vertically. It worked well for this quilt.
