Adapted from Stars & Bars pattern in "Quiltmaker Magazine, No 40, July/August 1995, and Fractured Flag pattern by Cross Mountain Stitchery. For 20-plus years, my family and friends spent the 4th of July at Town Lake listening to the Austin Symphony and oohing and aahing at the fireworks. This quilt was made to celebrate and remember those wonderful memories of our family tradition.
