Comments

When I saw the panels, I knew I would hand embroidery every part of the design and the sashing and borders. Embroidery was the first needlework I learned as a young girl and I wanted to try my hand at it again. I also saw the panels called for crystals and wanted to really give the quilt some zing! The name of the fabric panels is Gypsy Bandana, therefore the name "Gypsy" and "Siam" is for the red background.

Techniques

Hand Embroidering. Machine Piecing. Machine Quilting. Other. Crystals
