Comments

"Patience" symbolizes with every triangle and every quilting stitch all the love that I feel for my husband. For the patience he shows for my hobby; for the quilt shops he takes me to as we travel; for the fabric he knows that I purchase; and for the times he takes me to quilt shows, I am forever grateful. He has encouraged me as I have grown as a quilter and watched with silence and pleased surprise when I win ribbons. He even helps me with color or arrangement problems that I incur. "Patience" also represents the quilts that hang in closets waiting to be quilted. This top languished in the dark for over 10 years. My heartfelt thanks go to Angela McCorkle for giving life to my birthday gift to my husband. I know that he will treasure this quilt as I do.
