| I made this quilt for a special brother who turned 50. He loves Lone Star beer and also UT sports, especially football, so I tried to incorporate both in my design. Upon completion, someone gave me the UT Championship pennants. My brother, being Mr. U.T., wanted them sewn on the quilt. The fact that the first pennant was won the year he was born made it especially neat to include. This quilt looks really great in my brother's burnt orange pool room as a pool table cover lit up with the Vintage Lone Star pool table light above! |
