For many years now I have been a devoted disciple of precision piecing. How refreshing to cut loose this time. I set out with the goal of creating a quilt that would allow me to focus less on perfectly pointy points and more on the interplay of colors. A wonky Courthouse Steps block fit the bill perfectly. This quilt features many of my own hand-dyed fabrics and threads, as well as some which were purchased, and some commercial prints.
